It's not looking good for the Lide 80 and a whole bunch of peripherals in 10.7, although perhaps someone will find a way. Personally, I'd be glad to hand manufacturers $20 for updated drivers when these things happen, but something tells me that will never be an option.

Mine is working fine under Snow Leopard with Rosetta tunred on, but with Lion (10.7) Rosetta will be gone, so I guess the scanner is toast.

it doesn't work!

I do not have "open in rosetta" showing up on my osd info.
it only shows 'open in 32-bit mode'.

my psd cs2 stopped working after i installed cs5 - it lost some components or something.
so psd cs5 was my last hope!

So that got me thinking — “I should check my directories and see if those folders even exist on my system.” Lo and behold, they didn’t. And at long last, I was sure I had found the solution to this convoluted problem. I quickly created the following two directories on my file system, under my main user account:
/Library/Application Support/Canon/ScanGear/Plugins

/Library/Application Support/Canon/ScanGear/Plug-ins

works!!!
